Soundproofing the front door is an urgent problem for all homeowners. Especially in Soviet-built houses - small landings in combination with thin walls leave no chance for a quiet life. 3. Polyfoam - a lightweight material, protects from noise, but when burning causes severe smoke
4. Corrugated cardboard - the most inexpensive material with low soundproofing characteristics

New models of metal doors have a system of sealing loops and sills, providing a snug fit of the canvas to the door frame. Elite doors are additionally sheathed on the inside with artificial leather.

Most often, two or three layers of different materials are used for sound insulation: synthetic winterizer, batting, isolon - this is the bottom layer that is laid on the door leaf. Artificial leather or dermatin - this is the top layer, is a decorative part.
